about me

born and raised in brooklyn, new york i first ventured north to boston to attend emerson college where my love and devotion for the new york yankees got me kicked out of many a frat party. in 2005, like many new yorkers i took my talents to south beach, without much thought, to attend law school. never thinking too far ahead.

typical boy meets girl, girl plays hard to get but eventually caves — scenario. i met my husband in law school and without any hesitation stayed in miami where we married in 2013 and currently live with our adorable rescue pups (adopt don’t shop!) jackson & richie.

i discovered yoga in 2010, and since then it has become the best kind of addiction. i believe in all of the cliche, corny side effects people spout about the practice. it has helped expand my mental and emotional capacity. i am a calmer, more thoughtful, more patient and less reactive person. i am stronger, comfortable in my own-skin, generally give less fucks and am better about not sweating the small stuff.

at the same time i started my yoga practice, i was trying to find my professional comfort zone. i moved from the public to private and back to the public sector of law. i was restless and unsettled. in 2017 instead of taking a huge leap, i took a small but essential step and completed a 200-hour teacher training with absolutely no expectations. i started to sub classes after work, eventually picking up a weekly gig at my home studio in miami beach (tropical vinyasa).

at the start of 2022 i took the plunge and quit law to focus all of my energy on teaching yoga and leading fitness retreats with my good friend and partner, Rachel Loebs. check the ‘practice with me’ page for my weekly class schedule and sign up links :) and the ‘travel with me’ tab to come on our next adventure!
